The Joy of Flint

This is a free, downloadable document (in PDF format). It provides an exciting introduction to the study of stone tools as practiced in Britain, as well as offering a guide to the lithic collections held by the Museum of Antiquities of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. It is by no means definitive nor in-depth but rather presents an accessible entry to the world of lithic studies, particularly suited for undergraduate students and interested newcomers to the subject.

ARS Public Access Library

ARS Ltd has now made available our extensive library which includes complete runs of archaeological journals, over 1000 archaeological volumes and a substantial number of other offprints.
