Nine Bronze Age Cremations Unearthed

We’ve had a busy week unearthing nine Bronze Age cremations, some in well-preserved urns, on a site in north-west England. We’ve wrapped and block-lifted the complete urns ready to be micro-excavated by our Osteologist and will hope to learn as much as we can about the deceased
